DATEX PLC SYSTEM is an industry PLC with open source software, fully compatible with DATEX controller and Arduino.

Modular IO.

Scalable solution: With the Modbus RTU, different configurations are possible. The main board (PLC MASTER 841616) has a length of 212 mm, each add board has a length of 75 mm.

The DATEX PLC is an industrialized Arduino-compatible board. With our new PLC we are making it more open, independent, flexible, innovative, secure and license-free. All connections equipped with plug-in terminals and simple and fast assembled.

The open-source Arduino Software (IDE) is the most used IDE for Arduino and makes it easy to write code and upload it to the DATEX PLC.

Platforms OpenPLC.

The OpenPLC Project consists of two parts in our system: Runtime and Editor. The runtime should be installed on your device and is responsible for executing your PLC program. The Editor is the software that runs on your computer and is used to create your PLC programs.

The Datex Smart Touch L communicates with OpenPLC Runtime over Modbus RTU.

HMI ScadaBR.

If you want to use the DATEX PLC without Datex Smart Touch L controller, you can use the PLC with a computer or a panel PC.

The software ScadaBR is the HMI Builder. With ScadaBR you can create beautiful web-based animations that will reflect the state of your process.
ScadaBR communicates with OpenPLC Runtime over Modbus / TCP.

OpenPLC Editor for Windows.

OpenPLC Editor is a software that lets you write PLC programs for the OpenPLC runtime. The programs are written according to the IEC 61131-3 standard. The editor is very simple to use and supports all five languages defined in the standard: Ladder Logic (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Instruction List (IL), Structured Text (ST), and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
